The most rewarding part of my role is knowing that we created something that gainfully employs approximately 25 people (at one time when we owned the stores in the western provinces, it was close to 100) and most have families in this community and this is how they are supported.
Teleco™ also supports many great causes here in Thunder Bay and this, too, is very rewarding to give back to the community we were raised and love.
I enjoy, first and foremost, the people I work with and second, the business is in a continuous state of change, so there is something new every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy camp, golf, Arizona, and spending time with my family.
I’ve been with Teleco™ since: 1985

It’s great to work for a local organization with a team that cares about what we do for our customers.
The most rewarding part of my job is hearing feedback in the community about a great customer service experience they had with one of our Teleco team members.
It’s these things that makes me proud to be part of an organization where everyone works together to provide the best customer experience and recognizes that it’s the small things that make a difference. Each of us regardless of position depends on each other for our success and ultimately separates us from our competition.
The best thing about working at Teleco is the ability to react quickly and implement change if it benefits our clients. We don’t have a lot of red tape and if it’s great that we can organically alter or modify our processes if it’s for the best interest of our customers.
We are in the communication industry which is constantly changing and improving and we need to adapt with it to also improve and be efficient, effective and transparent with the services we provide our customers. I also like the fact that every member of our team is a valued member and not just an employee with an employee number. I know their families and what they like to do in their spare time and at Teleco we try to empower a work-life balance approach. Work is important but so is family!
My favourite thing to do in my spare time is spend time with my husband and my two sons at our camp. There’s nothing better than being out there with them fishing, spending quality time with other family members and friends and a nice glass of wine.

That variety is what makes working at Teleco so rewarding. I never know what I’m going to be doing next week, but I know it’s going to be something interesting where I’m helping local businesses solve problems to make sure that the technology they rely on runs as smoothly as possible.
In the time I’ve been working here, I’ve learned new skills, met lots of interesting people and I’m proud to have become part of a fantastic team.

I’ve been with Teleco for a while now and I enjoy seeing the difference we put on clients faces each and everyday when we are able to help them get the best phone and plan for their needs.
I’ve been fortunate enough to take several training classes with Apple Canada and have earned the designations of Apple Master and Apple Product Professional. These training sessions have
given me extensive knowledge surrounding the entire Apple Ecosystem, meaning that I am able to figure out and solve most issues that arise within the Apple Ecosystem.
Having different clients from all walks of life come into the store everyday and hearing their stories; and knowing that I have done everything I can to make their experience the best it can be, is
probably the best part of my job.
I do a lot of traveling each year, mostly within Canada but occasionally overseas; the best spot I’ve visited so far is Lucern, Switzerland. The crisp mountain air, the beautiful landscapes and
the friendly people made this my favourite place to visit so far. The next big trip I am saving up for is to visit Phuket and Chiang Mai, Thailand.

On my days off, I enjoy spending as much time as possible at any one of the golf courses in town. You will either find me teaching, or testing my own skills as I have been a teaching & playing professionally since 2017. This has allowed me the opportunity to compete in the STAAL Foundation Open at Whitewater Golf Club, as well as other events across North America. Off the course, I will have my feet up out at camp, taking the dog for a walk, or enjoying time spent with my family.
I attended Western New Mexico University for general business while playing NCAA Athletics, graduated from Niagara College with a Professional Golf Management Degree as well as a Business Diploma in 2016.
I have been working with Teleco since December 2019, learning something new from our great staff here every day as well as expanding my knowledge of cellular devices and services.
Whether you are looking for a new cell phone, some information to keep you up to date, or a friendly face to chat about the 84 at Strathcona, come on down and say hi at Teleco!
My name is Parth Pathak and I have done my Digital Marketing from Confederation College. I came to Canada in 2019 and loved Thunder Bay a lot. I moved to Toronto for a couple of months but did not like it there with all the traffic and chaos. So, I came back to Thunder Bay and started working for Subway.
I have just started working here at Teleco and I already feel at home with the atmosphere. I try to stick to the one rule that I always follow: “Keep the customer happy and satisfied.” I will try that everyday here at the store.
I am more of a nature person so, I usually go sightseeing, hiking, or camping at our beautiful nature places or at conservation areas. I also like to take pictures of nature that goes directly on to my Instagram profile. Along with that, I love travelling and have been to almost all the parts of Canada.
Looking forward to grow myself and achieve everything that I can.
I have been at TELECO since August 16 2022.
I have been working at Teleco wireless for a couple of months now and I would say that working here has been a great experience so far. I enjoy interacting with customers which makes working at Teleco all the more enjoyable. It is always nice being able to put a smile on a customers face after sorting out a technical problem or even helping them to get better deals on their services. I also noticed that Teleco has a lot of regular customers whom I am familiar with now and it is always a nice interacting with them.
I am currently a student enrolled in Lakehead University and in my final year as a geology major. I enjoy being outdoors and actively working due to my energetic nature. I am working part-time in Teleco as it can be coordinated with my school schedule.
My main reason that I believe I am a great fit for Teleco wireless is that I am very knowledgeable about technology and mobile devices which makes it easy for me to help the customers in their decisions as it relates to their device needs. I also find it easy to adapt to and understand new device releases as I study them in my free time as a hobby.
It will be great to see what the future holds for me and I am glad to have Teleco as a part of my journey.
I have been with TELECO since May 16 2022.
